We are all following the current government and NHS guidelines. Treatments may now be carried out.
Protocols are in place to insure best practice and safety for clients and practioners.
When you make an appointment we will outline these extra safety measures.
Please call me if you would like to discuss this matter or would like any further information regarding treatments.
My name is Amanda Bradbury and I have been happily providing a friendly, caring and professional foot health service to clients in the comfort of their own homes since qualifying as a Foot Health Practitioner in 2009. I am registered (www.footreg.org), registration number 13898, and insured.
I am now based in Ledbury, Herefordshire and work in Ledbury and the surrounding area.
In 2013 I also qualified as a Reflexologist from Brighton College. This served to deepen my conviction that healthy, comfortable feet are essential not only for immediate relief of discomfort but vital for our overall health and wellbeing. I like to include a short reflexology-based massage, where appropriate, at the end of a treatment.
In my free time I love exploring our beautiful countryside with my dog, Benny!
A Foot Health Practitioner is qualified to provide hygienic routine foot care and maintenance for your feet. We can assess, treat, and make referrals where necessary.
An FHP has studied and completed a Diploma in Foot Health Practise. We are taught correct procedures and techniques for dealing with many foot problems, as well as cutting and filing nails. Corns, callus, verrucas and hammer toes are just some of the foot problems that cause pain and limit mobility. Regular treatment can prevent and resolve many issues.
As well as the practicalities of treatment we have a good understanding of anatomy and functions of the lower leg and foot. Foot health is dependent on many systems of the body. The skeletal, vascular, lymphatic, muscular, nervous and endocrine systems all play a part in maintaining healthy tissue and circulation and protect us from infection. All our instruments are sterilised.
Many of us may need occasional or regular foot treatment during our lives, especially as we get older, for various reasons. A stay in hospital, poor eyesight, arthritis or diabetes may impact on our ability to care for our feet effectively and safely.
A job where walking or standing for long periods of time may also present challenges. Or maybe just a little pampering now and then is what you’re looking for.
An FHP not only cuts nails and treats foot problems but can advise on suitable footwear and protection for continued comfort between treatments.
It’s never too late to start taking care of your feet!
